Gain a brand new sense of confidence and start living your life to the fullest without having to worry about your bad skin. The Candela VBeam Perfecta Pulsed Dye Laser treatment is an effective, painless way to get rid of venous lakes, hemangiomas and telangiectasia.

  • What Is It?

This state-of-the-art laser technology is equipped to target spots on the skin that are vascular in nature. These reddened areas are made up of blood vessels and blood, and the Candela Veam Perfecta Pulsed Dye Laser has a large spot size so significant areas of the skin can be treated quickly.  For treatment of acne rosacea, PDL was the first laser treatment to be used. This Pulsed Dye Laser technology has been shown to reduce various symptoms of acne rosacea in just one or two treatments.

  • How Does It Work?

This laser specifically targets the red color of the hemoglobin within blood vessels using a concentrated beam of life. The hemoglobin absorbs the light of the laser as heat. The heat from the laser causes the blood vessels to coagulate and reabsorb into the body.

No anesthesia is required, as the treatment is relatively painless. Each session is fairly short, typically lasting only a few minutes, though the amount of time it takes can vary depending upon the size of the area being treated.

  • What Can It Treat?

We use the Candela VBeam Perfecta Pulsed Dye Laser to treat venous lakes, red moles, and hemangiomas.

  • How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Typically, most patients require somewhere between one and three Candela VBeam Perfecta Pulsed Dye CO₂ Laser treatments to achieve optimal results. However, this number can vary depending upon the particular condition being treated, as well as the severity of that condition.

  • Are There Any Side-Effects?

The most common side effect associated with this treatment is bruising. Fortunately, any bruises that appear should subside on their own between three and ten days after treatment. A less common but possible side effect is a change in skin pigmentation that subsides within a few weeks. Scarring is extremely rare.
