Scar Revision

 Scar Revisions and Softening

Due to previous surgical procedures or injuries, visible scars can develop on multiple areas of the body and cause embarrassment in social situations or in instances where these areas are exposed. Scar revision treatments utilize laser and light technologies to target scar tissue at a cellular level below the skin surface, improving the look and feel of the skin from the inside out.

At Laser Health Works, we utilize CO2 laser resurfacing, Pro-fractional laser, BBL treatments, and micro-needling for scar revision.

  • CO2 Laser Resurfacing

One of the most advanced laser surfacing techniques, CO2 laser resurfacing offers the ability to target specific areas of the face while maintaining the integrity of surrounding skin and tissues. Using short-pulsed, fractionated laser technology, small areas of the scar tissue are treated at a time, removing thin layers of skin at a time while creating minimal heat damage.

  • BBL Treaments

BBL targets the red or pigmented portions of the scar.  Early treatment can help with remodeling of the scar and help flatten its appearance.

  • Pro-Fractional Laser

Pro-Fractional Laser can help 'break up' the tightness or hardness of the scar and help with remodeling of the scar with healing.

  • Micro-Needleing

Micro-Needleing can help to remodel the scar as well with repeated treatments.
